Oriented Strand Board (OSB)
OSB products are structural panels that are truly engineered from the ground up in terms of structural efficiency and cost-effectiveness. This is achieved by the responsible utilization of fast-growing species, namely poplar and aspen, to construct an economical and environmentally responsible structural panel.
Using controlled manufacturing conditions, waterproof binders and resins bond the wood strands into engineered mats which are cured under intense heat and pressure to create engineered panels with enhanced stiffness and strength properties along with dimensional stability.
OSB panels have a wide range of uses from roof, wall and floor sheathing to hoarding, temporary floor protection to crating and packaging and beyond. In fact OSB is a good choice of material where structural strength and economy are primary factors.
