Insulation‑Rigid & Semi‑Rigid
Insulating products are an integral part of most residential and commercial construction projects, and Hanford Lumber can supply your requirements; whether it be batt (semi-rigid) insulation or insulating board products, we can advise on the right product for the proper application .
Semi-rigid (batt) insulation is available in fibreglass or mineral wool composition in a variety of thicknesses and widths for walls and ceilings. Board insulation is available in white styrofoam ( expanded polystyrene or EPS) or pink foam (extruded polystyrene or XPS). Each type of board has a different application and different densities are available for XPS for applications ranging from insulating foundation perimeters to curtain wall applications; from under-slab insulation to geotechnical applications in bridges and underpasses. 20, 40 and 60 PSI compressive strength board. Available on special order.
Spray foam is available for sealing cracks and crevices.
Sill plate gasket
Polyethylene Film: 500 and 1500 sq ft rolls available in light, medium, heavy and CGSB certified for vapour barrier.
